Sluffed by Pitchfork as well as celebrated by The xx, sister act CocoRosie drops an indie pop/hiphop featherbomb May 11th via Sub Pop Records. The local tag says Americans Sierra as well as Bianca Casady wrote as well as available their fourth album "Grey Oceans" in Buenos Aires, Melbourne, Berlin, New York, as well as Paris, as well as collaborated with several low-pitched partners along a way.

Check a focussed G-funk synth squiggles in "Lemonade," a mournful essence horns, a drum appurtenance beat: that's all hiphop stuff. Then check a sped-up chorus, with a peppy vocals doing which fast vibrato/word swallowing thing so prevalent in today's womanlike fronted piano pop. CocoRosie pulls off a combo because a sisters Casady have been don divas of this mixed-fi headphone head-nod s__t, as well as also faeries for real.
