Brazilian crooner still looking for perfect song

LOS ANGELES —

One of his songs was dedicated to the pope as well as most of his tunes have been YouTube sensations. Yet Brazilian crooner Roberto Carlos says he's still seeking for the "perfect song" - even as he celebrates 5 decades of performing.

Carlos pronounced in the phone talk from Miami this week which he'd "like to have an even larger adore strain - one which says something which hasn't been said."

Carlos, who turns 69 upon April 19, will revisit New York, Los Angeles as well as other cities as part of the North American tour celebrating his 50-year career.

He's had countless mega-hits in both Portuguese as well as Spanish, as well as his strain "Amigo" was used to compensate homage to the late Pope John Paul II when he visited Mexico.
