Michael Lynche stays in 'Idol' judges' good graces

LOS ANGELES —

The "American Idol" judges don't bewail keeping Michael Lynche out of a jailhouse.

The 26-year-old personal tutor from Queens, N.Y., strike a right notes upon a Fox singing foe Tuesday with his stripped-down chronicle of Elvis Presley's "In a Ghetto." Lynche formerly impressed a panel with a dramatic rendition of The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" though received a fewest spectator votes final week as good as was subsequently saved by a judges.

"It's a pleasing song, as good as you definitely sang it well," Kara DioGuardi pronounced after Lynche's take upon The King.

Lynche's fellow bottom-vote getters - 25-year-old musician Andrew Garcia of Moreno, Calif., as good as 17-year-old tall school tyro Aaron Kelly of Sonestown, Pa. - didn't fare as well.

Simon Cowell proclaimed which Garcia's interpretation of "Hound Dog" was "lazy as good as predictable," as good as he pronounced Kelly's rain upon "Blue Suede Shoes" was which he "didn't make it young."

"It felt like you were dressing up for a part," Cowell informed Kelly.

Two singers one after another to impress: raspy 24-year-old singer Lee Dewyze of Mount Prospect, Ill., who sang "A Little Less Conversation" as good as worldly 24-year-old musician Crystal Bowersox of Toledo, Ohio, who offering "Saved."

"That's a approach to come out," Randy Jackson told Bowersox, who achieved first.

For fright of sounding repeated with her Bowersox praises, Ellen DeGeneres called out to a throng to see if any one was celebrating a birthday instead.

Katie Stevens, a 17-year-old tall school tyro from Middlebury, Conn., as good as Siobhan Magnus, a 20-year-old glass blower from Marstons Mills, Mass., received mixed responses to their particular performances.

Cowell pronounced Stevens was "loud as good as a bit annoying" upon "Baby What You Want Me To Do," whilst DioGuardi "wasn't crazy" about Magnus' "Suspicious Minds."

"It's getting treacherous for me," DioGuardi admitted to Magnus! .

Two contestants will be sent home Wednesday since a judges saved Lynche from rejecting final week.
